About FAR Corporate Services

FAR Corporate Services is the Investment Banking and corporate services operation of the FAR finance and private capital group.

We work closely with our clients who range from established businesses to and growing or startup businesses to assist them in achieving their goals.

We provide a range of services, including:

• Sourcing property loans for developments, bridging finance or ongoing ownership
• Sourcing general business debt funding
• Raising equity for businesses
• General investment banking and advisory services
• Finding and creating investment opportunities to a clients needs

The FAR Group commenced in 1987 with FAR Corporate Services incorporated in 1991. Our team is small and we operate in a focused, lean, and agile manner, seeking to provide clients with suitable, creative solutions to business and funding issues, from local or international sources.

We work funding solutions with:

• A range of more traditional institutions
• Larger and smaller 2nd tier professional funders
• Family offices & individual financiers and investors

We seek funding solutions and transactions that meet each individual situation.

We maintain extensive out-of-house associated skills that we draw on as necessary.

What We Do

We:

• Deliver financial solutions to Client needs
• Work with clients to create appropriate credit papers or Information Memorandum
• Market same to institutional, professional &/or sophisticated/wholesale investors
• Structure financial transactions and investment opportunities by reacting to approaches or proactively identifying transactions ourselves

We have worked on public capital and private capital raisings both in New Zealand and Australia.

With due disclosure members of our associated FAR group may take debt or equity positions in transactions on some occasions.

We primarily focus on transaction opportunities derived in New Zealand, although we work on opportunities that have a global reach, with some originating or being based outside of New Zealand, such as in Australia.

We enjoy working with new ideas and projects, often expanding the original concept to provide practical solutions on how to structure and progress the opportunity, together with introducing a workable mix of debt and equity and/or introducing other parties who can add to the strategic development in various ways.

Whilst based in New Zealand and having a significant focus on domestic funding solutions and investment opportunities, our international contacts reach across the Pacific and beyond.
